X-Lakes Challenge Start and Finish Announced!
After much deliberation we have finally settled on a Start and End point for the X-Lakes Challenge. The decision was based on a combination of safety, accessibility, accommodation and ways to help reduce any risks associated with the Coronavirus pandemic.
Start: Loweswater -> Finish: Eskdale
The Event HQ will be at West Lakes Adventure in Eskdale. This is where we will host the pre-Challenge briefing on Friday 25th June.
Eskdale is also our base for the post-Challenge prize-giving celebrations on Sunday evening. It has everything needed to ensure that participants, their friends, family and supporters can have a weekend to remember.
Competitors for both the one-day, ‘Hardcore’, and two-day, ‘Day Tripper’, Challenge will begin at Loweswater on Saturday the 26th June, although at slightly different times. We do, however, reserve the right to change this plan for the Day-Tripper event if weather dictates that the Challenge runs on the Sunday. More details to follow…
